Please send David Dechant to Greece

He’s been stuck in KANSAS his WHOLE life, he needs to get outta there!

I, Matt Bernier, have been given an opportunity to help out David Dechant, my little (albeit taller) brother in his quest to get the heck out of Kansas and see the world. NOTE: This is not the elder David Dechant who currently resides in and near Hotlanta. He probably would happily also take donations for his own good works.

He has a unique opportunity to go to school in Greece for a year, but he is 15 and has no means to pay for it all himself. Please help him out by sending some cash his way, via the paypal button below.

I have set this site up for David so that he can properly solicit everyone he knows to give him money in the hopes that he will make enough and be able to go.

The money goes into my paypal account when donated, but ALL of the money that comes through the account via the button below will be marked for David and I will be holding it for him until he needs it for the trip. This will allow the money to earn a whopping 1.39% interest while it sits (That is 5.56 times more interest than my savings account gets!!). Any interest gained by this money will also go towards his trip.

In the interest of good faith, good opportunities, christmas spirit and other happy things Melissa and I have started the donations with $150 contribution (this was also David’s Christmas gift from us).

Paypal accepts all major credit cards, and if you already have a paypal account you can send money directly from your bank account. I believe that you should be able to send money without having to sign up for paypal, if this is not the case, David will accept checks!!

One more thing before you donate, please remember that paypal is a company that likes to make things easy for people, but this comes at a cost. Paypal will take 2.9% + $0.30 of every transaction. $100.00 after paypal is really $96.80.
