Final Countdown
by David on Jun.28, 2009, under Leaving, Preparation
Hey guys, The time for me to leave for Denmark is fast approaching. In about a month i will be on my way to see Matt, and i week after that i will be in Denmark. Yesterday i actually recieved the letter that told me where i will be staying and who i will be staying with. I will have a Single Mom, a 16 year old sister, and a 14 year old brother. I have actually began to email my exchange mother and she seems like a very nice and wonderful person. I will miss you all when i am gone and still if you could send me your addresses so that i can write you letters while i am there, it would greatly help. I will not have a phone and i will only be able to communicate with you guys through this blog. I wish you all the best and i am hoping to update this blog at least once more before i leave. Thank you to all you loyal readers and remember to keep reading and telling your friends about this.

Hey for anyone who i have not actually told yet…i will not be going to greece. YFU decided to cancel the trip for everyone because it did not meet standards(whatever that means). Don’t be discouraged though because they gave me ten other countries to choose from. My top three were Denmark, Thailand, and Austria. We got the results back from YFU yesterday nad i will be going to Denmark. I leave on August 2nd. Unfortunatlly that means 2 things. 1. i wont be going to a church thing in Estes Park, Colorado. I do get to go see my brother in Denver before i leave though. The other thing that this means is that i will not be around when the rest of my friends start school, really that one is about how i will really miss them. If you have read my other recent posts you know that this blog will be my only form of contact with all of you besides writing letters. If you prefer letters, or just can’t get on my blog a lot then send me a comment with your address. (Don’t worry no one else will see it). Thank you to all of you loyal readers and others who wish me the best in Denmark. I will miss you all.
(Don;t forget to tell your friends about this blog.)
